Tara Catanzaro LPC

Tara has a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and is licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Prior to returning to direct service as a clinician at Teris Health Services, Tara worked in leadership for 7 years, most recently as the Clinical Director for a behavioral health outpatient clinic overseeing a variety of contracts/programs and over 100 clinicians and case managers to ensure quality services were being provided to clients and compliance was being met for governing agencies/contracts. She has worked in agency, hospital, and incarceration settings, providing various forms of counseling and case management services for the criminal justice population and populations designated with a serious mental illness (SMI). Tara has over 12 years of experience treating the adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with a variety of mental health related issues, including depression, anxiety, substance use/abuse, and trauma related issues.
